Dr. Assaf is a versatile board certified pathologist-scientist with well-balanced and integrated advanced training in pathology, virology, immunology, gene therapy, and FDA regulatory review process.
As a principal scientist and veterinary pathologist at Pfizer Inc, Dr. Assaf is putting his accumulated knowledge in translational medicine to the true test of delivering safe and effective therapeutics in a timely fashion. As a member of Pfizer’s Drug Safety R&D department, Dr. Assaf is involved in diverse activities pertaining to his credentials in anatomic pathology, biological therapeutics and small molecule drug development.
At the same time Dr. Assaf extends his role in the field of translational medicine; pursuing discoveries and leading-edge innovations in the development and safety evaluation of novel therapeutic products.
